Felting and Fiber Art

As an artist, I find the act of creation to be as important as the final product. My fiber art does not begin with the image design, but with the sourcing and creation of the materials used to bring each design to life. I blend the fibers, some of which I have first dyed, to create the batts that I use in my felted works. I spin yarns to embellish and create the varied textures which add visual interest. Producing these materials is a meditative act and and importantpart of my creative process.
