Words Along The Way

This is an on-going project that began in late 2019 as the result of a conversation that I should have had but didn’t. Over the course of the project so far, I have stamped out, letter by letter, over 700 phrases. These words come to me during times of meditation and prayer. Each time that I hike, I draw at least one message from my bowl to be left on the trail, sometimes with an additional piece of jewelry or other small metal item. My only record are the photographs I take as I leave each piece. I do not know who finds the pieces or the lives that are touched by this project, but it is my hope that each piece finds the person it is meant for and that the message reaches them in a timely moment to generate something positive in their life.
